Our First Tremendous Twenty Club Member

Congratulations to Vanhlawn Bawr.  She is the first student in our class to have read all 20 Young Hoosier Books.  Way to go Vanhlawn!

What Does Your Picture Equal?

We have been doing a LOT of work with fractions during Unit 5.  As a fun way to practice what they have learned, students created pictures out of different fraction pieces (whole, halves, fourths, and eighths).  They then added their pieces together to find the sum of their fraction pictures.

What were your New Year's resolutions?  Last week the students worked on a New Year's project.  They stated their goals for the new year, what they would like to improve on this year, as well as the things they love in 2019.  Be sure to ask your child his or her goals for 2019!
