For our first Fun Friday the students were presented with a challenge. The challenge was to build the tallest tower they could out of index cards with their groups. The catch...students first had to find something that each group member had in common and write that on their index cards before they could be put into the tower. At first they were having trouble finding commonalities, but they soon realized that they all have more in common than they thought. This was a great way for the students to get to know one another, as well as a great way to practice teamwork.
